It's the Jewish New Year again, one of the two times a year I get to start over fresh. Being a teacher, this time of year has always been a starting point, with the traditional end of the year a bit of a gaudy follow-up.
They have different flavors, is all.
So, another New Year, another basket of aples for sweetness and a thought on writing:
At Rosh Hashanah we say "L'Shana Tova" or "May you be inscribed in the book of Life." I like that. It means that God keeps a journal, too.
